What gets removed

We remove a listing, and the account behind it, for fraud, dealer activity, or abusive messages. Every listing has a “Report this listing” link, and a person reads what comes in.

What the report link is for

We’re not trying to build a site where every disagreement turns into a report. Use it for fraud, dealer activity, or abusive messages — not to settle a dispute. A person reads every report.

What happens to a report

It goes into a queue with the listing it is about and what you wrote. Nothing acts on it automatically. The person reading it can take the listing down or suspend the account, or do neither. We don’t promise a response time or a particular outcome, and we don’t reply to every report; if we need more from you, we’ll use the account you sent it from.
